Maxobright Supra dyes are cationic dyes for dyeing PAN (polyacrylonitrile) fiber. Commercially available PAN fibers are different polymer blends of Acrylonitrile with other Vinyl compounds. PAN (polyacrylonitrile) fibers must contain at least 85% of Acrylonitrile while MAC (Modacrylic) fibers contain between 35-85% of acrylonitrile. Maxobright Supra dyes can be applied to both Polyacrylonitrile as well as Modacrylic fibers. From last few years, some other Cationic Dyeable Fibers, say CDP (Cationic Dyeable Polyester) are gaining popularity in field of Sportswear due to high wet fastness requirement as well as blends with Elastane fiber.
Another segment is Cationic Dyeable m-aramid (Meta Aramid) for its inherent properties, say heat resistance and high strength mainly used for protective clothing, military apparels etc. Maxobright Supra dyes range can be applied on these fibers as well.
